The long wait is almost over! Next week, we expect delivery of the book ‘Johnny Thunders - In Cold Blood’ by Nina Antonia, courtesy of our collaborators Cherry Red. To make it an indispensable purchase, it comes with a 10-track CD with outtake mixes from ‘L.A.M.F.’ and an interview with Johnny. And as a pre-publication treat, we’re offering the first 200 customers at our web-site copies that will be signed by the author, Nina!

The Heartbreakers ‘L.A.M.F. - the lost ’77 tapes’ is a CD that you’ve probably already got. However, we’re always looking for an excuse to lure new fans into the web, so it is being re-issued as a video-enhanced CD, the video being ‘Chinese Rocks’. It’s on a MPEG format viewable on both PC & Mac, the packaging has been slightly revamped with some different pics; it’s available shortly at all good records shops and now at our web-site.

Lech Kowalski’s epic film, the 8-year obsession that became ‘Born To Lose - The Last Rock’n’Roll Movie’ about the life and times of Johnny Thunders, has it’s UK premiere at the Raindance Film Festival on October 21st. There’s an event afterwards with Lech ‘remixing’ the movie, and a live-webcast planned. So keep the date free - even if you can’t get there you can stay in and watch the webcast! We’ll mail more details soon.
