| As a taster for the forthcoming 'METALLIC K.O.' double-CD, the newly re-mastered last ever Stooges show, Jungle are to issue a 45rpm seven-inch single 'I Got Nothin' in sparkling glitter vinyl - a fitting tribute to Iggy's glitter pants of the time, as re-modelled by Ewan McGregor in the 'Velvet Goldmine' movie.
'METALLIC K.O.', compared to Dylan's 'Royal Albert Hall '66' as a document of artist-audience confrontation (by Nick Kent, NME), has been re-mastered from the original ¼" tapes of two gigs, on which 2 extra tracks from the last ever Stooges show were found. Now Jungle are to re-issue it as a double-CD for the first time, packaged with a 12-page booklet featuring contemporaneous press reviews, comments from Iggy Pop and METALLIC foil lettering on the front.
'I GOT NOTHIN' is a numbered, limited edition, glitter vinyl 7" that will be an essential artefact for Ig-sters everywhere, and certain to whet appetites for the full re-mastered double-CD.
